PASTOR KEN & ANGIE SENCHAL

Pastor Ken and Angie have been pastor at HCC since April of 2000. Pastor Ken is originally from Houston, Texas, while Angie is originally from Alexandria, Louisiana.  They have been married since 1990.  Both served on staff at Grace Church in Houston, Texas.  Pastor Ken served ten years in the position of youth pastor, and Angie served in the capacity of administrative assistant.  Angie currently serves HCC in a pastoral and administrative coordinators position.  Pastor Ken came to full time ministry from a medical background.  As a R.R.T, he worked at Texas Children's Hospital in the medical center.  He graduated from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas.  In addition, he has a bachelors degree in Behavioral Science and Ethics.  He and Angie have two incredible children, and a stubborn dog named Teddy.  Their idea of a great time is spending it with family and even occassionally involving the dog.

Pastor Ken teaches in a Biblically relevant manner, utilizing a variety of methods including: regular teaching, drama, and illustrated sermons.  His main goal is to teach God's Word in a manner which is captivating and most importantly, able to be utilized in a daily manner.  Pastor Ken and Angie have a heart for all people and desire to see them connected to the life changing power of Jesus Christ.

 WORSHIP LEADER ALLAN & JILL JOHNSON    

Allan Johnson is a gifted musician, singer, and recording artist who has served in various ministries over the years.  He runs his own staff and leadership training company which leads him to various destinations all over the world.  Honored as a former District Teacher of the Year, he continues to coach local vocal music programs.  Allan and his wife Jill have three beautiful children and are active in ministry at HCC as New Community group leaders.  This family has made a huge impact on the hearts of their HCC family and we are excited and blessed to have them ministering to us through worship.  We think you will enjoy them as well.

MEN'S PASTOR JEREMY CLOUD & 
PINK WOMEN'S CO-LEADER MICHELLE CLOUD

Pastor Jeremy and Michelle have a desire to see men and women come into a victorious, life changing experience with Jesus Christ.  Pastor Jeremy leads the Men's Ministry, and Michelle co-leads the women's ministry, PINK, at HCC.  They have two wonderful kids and love spending time with family.  This couple has an infectious desire to see men and women get committed to God's plan for their lives. 

FUEL YOUTH PASTOR DUSTIN & LESLIE KEENER   

Dustin and Leslie have been serving on the HCC staff since November 2008 and enjoy helping teens every chance they get.  Dustin first felt the calling to minister to students when he surrendered his life to Christ at the age of 17.  He had never felt a love like Christ showed him, and wanted others around him to experience the same life changing power of Christ.  Dustin was born and raised in the North Houston, Texas area and in 2005 he decided to enroll in a Discipleship school called Masters Commission in Mission, Texas.  In this program he worked hand in hand with daily disciplines, served the church, and ministered weekly in Reynosa, Mexico.  During this program, he met his wife Leslie.  They graduated from the program together, and were married in February of 2009.  They are expecting a baby girl in April 2010.  Dustin and Leslie love HCC and all of the people here, and are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for the future at HCC.

 CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR LAUREN WOOD

Lauren has been the Childrens Director at HCC since August 2009.  She loves being a part of this wonderful body of believers.  Lauren believes she is a product of the people that love her, and has been blessed and well loved by her family, friends, mentors, and co-laborers.  Lauren was born in Madison Wisconsin, and raised in Spring, Texas.  She chose to attend college at Oklahoma Baptist University in Oklahoma where she graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Telecommunications and Applied Ministry.  Lauren grew up in a loving Christian home, where both parents, who were teachers, lived out their love for Christ by serving their local church, and taught Lauren the value of commitment and service.  She accepted Christ as her Savior during a Sunday School class as a child.  This has caused her to value children's classes and the incredible relationships that can form between invested teachers and sponge-like students.  Lauren sensed a calling on her life during junior high.  She has had the amazing opportunity to go on various mission trips, and served on church staffs, camp staffs, and community mission centers in a variety of positions.  She has always felt drawn towards the kids and children's education.

Lauren's family includes a wonderful older sister and brother-in-law, as well as a fantastic younger brother, sister-in-law, and a precious niece, all living away from her.  Her local family includes her little wiener dog Matilda (Matti) and many wonderful friends that she claims as "other-mothers, sisters, brothers, etc."!
