KID'S SPACE CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The Children's Ministry at HCC is called Kid's Space, and it is a place for kids that is out of this world! We provide a variety of safe, fun, and age-appropriate, interactive environments for all kids, from Nursery through 5th Grade. We have a "space" theme throughout, with an Astronaut Lounge and a Launch Pad!
We take the safety of our kids seriously, so all "Astronauts" check in when they arrive, and receive their Astronaut name badge (picture ID), and the parents receive a card to use to retrieve their Astronauts at the end of the service. Also, all of the workers must clear a full background check, helping to ensure that only the best possible people will be caring for your children.
MISSION, IGNITION, LIFTOFF! 
The purpose of the children's ministry is to connect hundreds of kids to the life changing power of Jesus Christ! We do that in a variety of ways and through a variety of programs and oportunities. We strive to be intentional in our programming, so we can help the kids Discover the "Mission" God has for their lives, which starts with a personal relationship with Him. Then we want to see their Faith "Ignite" their lives as they learn to live for Him. The third step is "Lift Off", as we go out into the world and put into practice what we have learned, by sharing God's Word and love with others!

- SPACE CADETS (5th-6th Grade) 11AM ONLY

- ESCAPE 24 (Girls Only): A weekend retreat for girls and their moms

- KID'S CAMP: For 2nd-6th Graders, during the summer

KID'S SPACE CURRICULUM
We write our own curriculum, and use a rotational model of teaching. What this means is that all of our kids study the same lesson set for an entire month. All the kids are learning the same memory verse, key points, and character trait, but in age appropriate ways! We have so much fun because each week the kids" rotate" and learn the same lesson in a whole new way. The six rotation stations are: Mission Control (Bible Study), Lunar Souvenirs (crafts), Mission Simulation (drama/video), Space Walk (games), Space Tunes(music), and the Refueling Station (snacks). We know that all kids have a different learning style, and we want to help them to learn the important lessons from God's Word in fun and creative ways that they will remember and be able to apply!
